Construction Engineer
Details: We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Management Engineer to join our construction operations to provide project quality control services for heavy civil projects in the Napa, California area.
Essential Job Functions:
• Conduct pre-construction and progress meetings.
• Control and input material submittals, Request for Information, and work plans.
• Field review and quality inspection of all construction activities
• Cost Control and materials tracking
• Daily, and monthly reporting
• Updating monthly construction schedules
• Storm Water Compliance monitoring
• Coordination meetings with the subcontractors and U S Army Corps of Engineers
• Must be able to walk through rough construction sites and lift 70 pounds from the ground
• Must be able to take storm water quality samples during rain events
Education & Experience Requirements:
• Construction Management Degree, Civil EIT or PE Certification
• Minimum of 4 years in Civil Construction
• PC literate in Microsoft Office applications with a proficiency in Excel and Word
• AutoCADD or MicroStation experience
• Stormwater Management experience
A Plus:
• Current Construction Quality Control certificate (CQC) Army Corps
• Recent Quality Control Management experience
• Recent experience on a U S Army Corps of Engineers project
• Current Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP)
• Experience with NPDES/ Erosion Control/ SWPPP/ BMP’s
• Primavera Certification
